Food waste is one of our world\u2019s biggest issues,
and one where you can make a huge difference.<\/h3>\n
| \n The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation and the U.S. Department of Agriculture estimate that the average family of four throws out approximately $1,484 worth of food and beverages each year. In total, roughly 40% of all edible food produced in America goes uneaten – much of it fresh fruit and vegetables.<\/p>\n We seek to create a cultural shift in attitudes and uses in food because it will put pressure up the supply chain.
