We are continuing our celebration of National Pollinator Month!

Pollinators play a critical role in American agriculture. In fact, many crops depend on butterflies, bees, and other pollinators to produce healthy harvests, from apples and berries to pumpkins, cucumbers, and almonds.

Supporting pollinators can start right at home:
🦋 Plant native flowers
🦋 Reduce unnecessary pesticide use
🦋 Create pollinator-friendly gardens
🦋 Support local farmers and beekeepers

Even small actions can help strengthen local ecosystems and support food security in rural and small-town communities.

Does your Grange maintain a garden, community flower bed, or green space? Share a photo below and inspire others to plant for pollinators this season!

National Grange President Christine Hamp has released her "Speak like a 'CHAMP'" phrase for the month of June.
Grange members are encouraged to use this phrase as they Grange across the country.

Decision Discipline
Decision Discipline is the practice of making choices grounded in strategy, mission, and available resources. It requires clarity, courage, and the willingness to prioritize what moves the organization forward. Decision discipline prevents distractions, reduces conflict, and strengthens long-term effectiveness. Leaders with decision discipline choose direction over indecision, progress over delay, and purpose over personal preference.

📣 Meet the National Grange interns!

Hi everyone! I'm Hailey Lincoln Williamson, and I'm excited to spend my summer interning with the National Grange.

I'm originally from the Adirondack Mountains of Northern New York and am currently a student at SUNY Morrisville, with just one semester left before graduation. I'm earning bachelor's degrees in Agricultural Science and Agricultural Business, and I've developed a strong passion for agricultural policy and advocacy.

My goal is to help bridge the gap between farmers and elected officials, ensuring rural voices are represented in policy discussions. This summer, I'm looking forward to learning from the National Grange, gaining hands-on experience, and supporting the future of agriculture and rural America.

I can't wait to share what I learn along the way!

📣 Meet the National Grange Interns!

Hello! My name is Holland Warren, and I am excited to announce that I'll be spending this summer in Washington, D.C. as an intern with The National Grange through The Washington Center. I am a rising junior at Florida State University, pursuing a dual degree in Political Science and Environment and Society, with a minor in Spanish.

I am originally from Birmingham, Alabama, and I am eager to explore the D.C. Metro area. I am looking forward to advancing my understanding of policy and grassroots advocacy firsthand and gaining valuable experience in the political sphere. This opportunity is a significant step toward my future career goals of working in the environmental policy and legislative space. I can't wait to see what this summer has in store.

📣 Meet the National Grange Interns!

Hi! My name is Savannah Mangold, and I am a senior Public Writing and Rhetoric major at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) with a minor in Political Science Pre-Law. I am so excited to be interning with the National Grange this summer through The Washington Center's Academic Internship Program. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work in the nation’s capital.

I was born in Wisconsin and raised in Tennessee, in both rural and suburban settings. I am eager to see the legislative process firsthand and to participate in advocacy for something very close to my heart. My hope is to attend law school in the near future and continue a legacy of advocacy.
