Tough times for Fulton Grange

Fulton Grange 66, the last grange with its own hall in Lancaster County, might soon be sold unless its members can find a way to keep open the historic building.
A bit of help to keep the lights on and the taxes paid will come Saturday, Nov. 16, when a group of southern Lancaster County gospel bluegrass musicians gather and sing as the grange’s own “angel band.”
Proceeds will benefit the grange, which once was a social and legislative powerhouse in southern Lancaster County.
“We know the grange hall really needs financial help,” said Connie Pell, a concert organizer.
