National Grange expresses support for adequate funding of imperative Farm Loans through the FSA

On Wednesday, the National Grange along with 20 other ag and rural organizations sent to the Hill a letter expressing support for adequate funding of imperative Farm Loans through the FSA.

President Betsy Huber said, “Agriculture is one of America’s most vital economic sectors.  A dependable lending source for agriculture producers is essential for our nation’s food and fiscal security.  The National Grange and 20 other farm and rural groups sent a letter to Congress urging appropriators to adequately fund the  USDA Farm Service Agency’s Farm Loan program for FY’18 to keep farmers and ranchers in business at a time of low commodity prices and depressed farm income”.
