National Grange Applauds Signing of the US-Japan Trade Agreement

The National Grange said today the agreement was a big win for American farmers.
“The United States-Japan Trade Agreement signed today by President Trump and Japanese Prime Minister Abe is a big win for America’s agriculture producers. It will give farmers and ranchers more access to our country’s third largest food and agricultural export market. Japan’s 127 million consumers like the food we produce here in America and have developed a strong demand market there. Japanese tariffs will be reduced on some products and eliminated on other products with a combined value of $14.1 billion. That’s good news in rural America.”
