National Grange hosts webinar on Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage: Changes under the Inflation Reduction Act”

Thank you to everyone who attended and participated in our latest Rural Mental Health Connections webinar: “Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage: Changes Under the Inflation Reduction Act.” The Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) is one of the most consequential healthcare laws since the Affordable Care Act was signed into law. In this 55-minute webinar, Council for Affordable Health Coverage President Joel White identified new Medicare insurance coverage benefits for patients enrolled in Medicare Part D, which provides coverage for prescription drugs. He also highlighted significant changes to plan premiums, formularies, access to treatments, and termination of policies from some insurance providers as a result of the Part D benefit redesign.
