Employment/Internships

No current vacancies.

The National Grange does not work through recruiters.  If you’ve received an email about a vacant position that seems suspicious, it’s important to be cautious as it could be a scam. Here are some red flags to watch out for:

  • Unsolicited job offers from unknown sources.
  • Requests for personal information such as your Social Security number or bank account details early in the process.
  • Job offers that require you to pay upfront fees for equipment or training.
  • Communication from personal email accounts rather than official @nationalgrange.org company email addresses.
  • Pressure to make quick decisions or to pay money upfront.

If you believe you’ve encountered a job scam, you can report it at ReportFraud.ftc.gov. Stay vigilant and always do your due diligence when it comes to job offers received via email.

To protect yourself, never give out personal information before verifying the legitimacy of the job offer. Contact the company directly using a phone number or website you know is legitimate. If you can’t confirm the job is real, it’s likely a scam. Remember, legitimate employers will never ask you to pay for a job or for equipment.
