The RaSani Body, Mind & Spirit Fair packed the Fairmount Grange on Saturday, and attendees said more mid-Willamette Valley residents are turning to alternative health treatments.
“Not only is modern medicine so expensive, it’s not a cure. It’s often a temporary fix,” said Jodi Cheshire of Sweet Home.
Cheshire was patronizing the MoonShadow Lavender booth. She bought a calming necklace and moon decoration from the Albany business.
“And who doesn’t love lavender? Lavender has such a wonderful smell,” she added.
The event included acupuncture, health consultations, massages, crystals, massages with crystals, magnet therapy and tie-dye shirts.
Several people were offering readings through astrology, cards and the like. A spiritual channeler and medium also was present, though she said she mostly helped clients overcome self-made barriers.
