Annual Grange Agricultural Fair to be held Sept. 21

Dayville, Conn. — The annual Grange Agricultural Fair will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 21 at the Killingly Grange, Route 101 and Dog Hill Road, Dayville.

Participants may submit entries for contests from 12 to 6 p.m. Sept. 20 at the grange. Contests include homegrown vegetables, flowers, canned goods, baked items, handcrafted quilting, sewing, knitting, crochet and needlework. Special contests include King Arthur Baking, Ball Canning and the Connecticut Association of Fairs Baking Contest. There are competitions with prizes and ribbons in all departments.
