Congressional Rural Caucus Surprise Medical Bills Alert
The National Grange has long opposed surprise medical bills that shock patients at bill-paying time and is supporting legislation moving through Congress to stop those surprises. However, it is unclear what effect the legislation will have on air ambulance service to rural areas where minutes to a trauma center determine life or death. The National Grange asked members of the Congressional Rural Caucus to be sure this legislation assures access to air ambulance service for rural citizens.
