Grange Opposes Tax Hikes on Family-Owned Businesses in Budget Reconciliation

The National Grange and nearly 200 state and national signatories sent a letter to Senate and House leadership opposing tax increases on small, individually-owned, family-owned and closely-held businesses, farms and ranches. These new tax rates, which are being considered by Congress in its budget reconciliation negotiations, would be an increase in the Net Investment Income Tax.  With high inflation, supply-chain challenges, and labor shortages, raising taxes on small businesses is a bad idea.
