Grange potluck and bluegrass concert is Saturday
The Swauk-Teanaway Grange is kicking off its fall events schedule this weekend with its fourth annual potluck and bluegrass concert, with Seattle-based band North Country Bluegrass scheduled to headline the festivities.
The event is Saturday at the Swauk-Teanaway Grange Hall east of Cle Elum. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with food being served at 6 p.m. and the concert beginning at 7 p.m. Admission is $7 for adults and free for kids.
With the potluck and bluegrass concert now in its fourth year, event co-chair Sally Gililand attributes its success to the musical talent brought in each year by the Grange. This year is no different, as Gililand says North Country Bluegrass is one of the best young bluegrass bands in the country.
