Grange Revival 2019 a huge success
Nearly 70 members from Washington to Maine, Florida to Colorado, attended the first Grange Revival, a five-day event held in Ozark, Arkansas, at the beautiful Mulberry Mountain Lodge and Resort, to enjoy fellowship and Grangerly fun.
The event included nearly a dozen workshops, Olympics, several off-site excursions to local attractions and businesses, and much more. From workshops focused on agricultural lessons like fiber production and spinning, and a science-based look at how kernels become popcorn, to card and sign crafting, there was something for everyone.
Several members came prepared to teach others and enjoy activities together like line dancing, geocaching and letterboxing.
The group gathered each evening for dinner and attendees helped add to the shared table homemade ice cream, Dutch oven desserts and much more.
Reviews from the event were very positive and the planning group has already begun searching for a site for the second Grange Revival, set for summer 2021. More details will be released soon, so be sure to check back and mark you calendars to attend!
