Lecturer Contests

Welcome to the Programs and Contests within the scope of the National Lecturer (Program Director). It is my sincere wish that the Programs and Contests outlined here will provide our Granges, our members and in most cases all friends of the Grange with opportunities and ideas on how to get involved, to make a difference and to showcase talents. I believe that it is imperative that we continually strive to try new things, to reach and to grow, to learn from others and to seize every opportunity to make ourselves, our Granges and our communities better.

2025 QUILT BLOCK CONTEST – Deadline: Sept. 1, 2025

Statement of Intent

The Quilt Block Contest provides an opportunity for Grange members and friends to collaborate in creating quilted items that can be donated or auctioned for funds to provide additional services to community members in a nationwide effort

2025 VIRTUAL PHOTO CONTEST – Deadline: Sept. 1, 2025

Statement of Intent

To encourage members and friends of the Grange to submit photos that can be used in National Grange publications and virtual media. Submitted photos will become the property of the National Grange and may be used in National Grange publications, marketing, merchandise, and virtual media

2025 GARDEN DESIGN CONTEST – Deadline: Sept. 1, 2025

Statement of Intent

Share gardening experiences, large or small, that connect us to the larger picture of agriculture, growing and nurturing plants for a variety of purposes. The contest is open to everyone – Grangers and not-yet-Grangers.

2025 CREATIVE WRITING CONTEST – Deadline: Sept. 1, 2025

Statement of Intent

To inspire members and friends of the Grange to submit their writings which will promote creativity, encourage writing skills, and provide exposure for writers. Submitted writing entries will become the property of the National Grange and may be used in National Grange publications, marketing, merchandise, and virtual media.

2025 DESIGN-A-PROGRAM CONTEST – Deadline: Sept. 1, 2025

Statement of Intent

Grange Lecturers are frequently designing and creating programs for their home Granges and communities. We encourage Grange members to share these programs and the steps they take so that other Granges could potentially replicate the programming without “reinventing the wheel.”
