The National Grange program’s department is very excited to bring you a new program this year focusing on World War II. The first step in this program is a CD that includes a PowerPoint, slide presentation notes and information on the Patriots Program for the whole year.

I’m happy to kick off this program in March, Women’s History Month, with a program dedicated to women in WWII. The CD enclosed focuses on “Women and the War Effort” and it contains 45 different slides on various subjects, such as women in the military, Government Girls, non-military jobs for women and many more. The last two slides of the project are dedicated to Grange women involved in WWII. I hope that you see this PowerPoint as a tool to have various different lecturer programs, big or small. Don’t forget to celebrate the women in your Grange and your life not only during Women’s History Month, but throughout the year.

Please make sure to forward this information to your local Granges. Let them know they are available for free at the National Grange. Also, be on the lookout for other PowerPoints focusing on World War II this year. If you, or your members, have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the National Grange at in**@************ge.org or call at 888-4-GRANGE
